There are few things in art as challenging as figure painting live, one of those is posing for them. My gratitude to the lovely and impressive burlesque dancer and art model Natanya Rubin. She held a perfect pose for 9 hours across 3 sessions for us. I completed this painting after additional hours in the studio. This painting was created with a very limited palette of ultramarine blue, titanium white, burnt umber, alizaren crimson, and raw sienna.
